Plastic or Steel – That is the question?

The debate about the types of barriers to use rumbles on. There are so great options now available from both sources.

The decision is based on how much you want to pay and what you think you return on investment is going to be.

The argument for plastic is that if you impact the barriers it returns to its original shape and there is no need to replace the part. With steel clearly this would need replacing and therefore would cost more in the long term. The argument in favour of steel is that with the right safe system of work you should reduce the risk of damaging the barrier and therefore injurying a pedestrian.
